WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Yardwaste Center on Old Main Street will be open on Wednesdays and Saturdays during selected dates for the drop-off of leaves and brush.
SPRING 2023 LEAVES/BRUSH DROP OFF PROGRAM:
- Wednesday, April 5, 2023 (8am to 2pm); Saturday, April 8, 2023 (9am to 4pm)
- Wednesday, April 12, 2023 (8am to 2pm); Saturday, April 15, 2023 (9am to 4pm)
- Wednesday, April 19, 2023 (8am to 2pm); Saturday, April 22, 2023 (9am to 4pm)
- Wednesday, April 26, 2023 (8am to 2pm); Saturday, April 29, 2023 (9am to 4pm)
- Wednesday, May 3, 2023 (8am to 2pm); Saturday, May 6, 2023 (9am to 4pm)
- Wednesday, May 10, 2023 (8am to 2pm); Saturday, May 13, 2023 (9am to 4pm)
LEAVES/GRASS CLIPPINGS CURBSIDE COLLECTION:
Leaves/grass clippings, placed in bio-degradable paper bags or uncovered barrels, will be collected curbside on your trash day as follows:
- Week of April 10, 2023
- Week of April 24, 2023
- Week of May 8, 2023
NO CONTRACTORS OR COMMERCIAL VEHICLES WILL BE ALLOWED.
The drop off of leaves and brush is permitted for Wilmington residents only.
Wilmington residents wishing to use the Recycling Center will need to purchase a punch card for $15 which will be good for 5 visits to the Recycling Center. The punch cards may be purchased Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, at the Tax Collector’s Office at the Town Hall at 121 Glen Road. You will be asked to present your punch card and a photo ID at the entrance to the facility.
Please note that due to the odors they create, NO GRASS CLIPPINGS will be allowed at the Recycling Center. Also no stumps will be accepted.
