LETTER: Jim DeFeo Is A Consummate Professional, Compassionate Man & Tireless Advocate For Others

Dear Editor,

I have known Jim DeFeo for over thirty years in both a personal and professional capacity. Jim is a man who is dedicated to the betterment of his fellow human beings.  I have personally observed his compassion on numerous occasions, when dealing with victims of crimes in his law enforcement capacity, or dealing with the families who have lost a love one in funeral service. I have known Jim to work tirelessly to achieve a goal that has been set, especially when it involves helping others.  Jim is a decorated combat veteran who has led troops in combat. I have worked beside Jim as an equal in his law enforcement career and had occasion to be his supervisor for a period of time, he is and has always been the consummate professional. When elected to the select board Jim will work just as hard for the people of Wilmington.
