Dear Editor,
Wilmington will head to the polls this Saturday to cast our vote for our new Select Board. I have known Frank West for over 40 years, and he is what Wilmington is all about. He’s spent his whole life in Wilmington and has raised his family here, with his wonderful wife Karen. Frank has given back so much to the town through his volunteerism over the years. As a Boy Scout leader, Captain of the Wilmington Minutemen, and several local boards, he has worked in many ways to help make Wilmington a great place to live. Most notably, Frank and Karen have also organized Wilmington’s Toys for Tots campaign on a yearly basis, helping to provide thousands of toys to needy children at Christmas.
I have been an avid follower of Wilmington politics for many years. We want our leaders to be independent thinkers and individuals of character and integrity. Frank is all of those things and on top of all that, he’s a great guy. He’s someone that will look you in the eye and give you his opinion, while still respecting yours, even if you disagree. He is always present at annual town meetings and select board meetings to give thoughts that may not have been considered. Residents will never have to worry about Frank West being part of a “political clique” or voting for anything other than the best interests of the residents of Wilmington.
Please join me in casting one of your two votes this Saturday for Frank West for Wilmington Select Board.
Sincerely,
Brian Kane
