WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, April 10, 2023:
  • Police removed a deceased skunk from Laurel Avenue. (8:15am)
  • A bus struck a telephone pole at the corner of Salem Street and Cunningham Street. No injuries noted. Verizon notified. (9:13am)
  • A caller reported a concrete truck struck a pole and a mailbox on Salem Street. Police notified Verizon. Homeowner and company exchanged information. (10:03am)
  • A caller reported the train gates were malfunctioning on Clark Street. Keolis responded. (12:22pm)
  • A walk-in party reported a hit and run near Cookes Skate Supply on Main Street. (1:43pm)
  • A deceased goose was removed from Main Street. (2:52pm)
  • A driver was cited on Middlesex Avenuefor failure to yield for an emergency vehicle. (4:43pm)
