WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington High School Art Department presents its inaugural Empty Bowls fundraiser on Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 5:30pm to 7pm, in Wilmington High’s Cafeteria (159 Church Street).
Purchase a ticket online. You may also, when you arrive at the event, make a donation of $15 or more. Donors will be welcomed at a table loaded with nutritious food and other tasty treats.
You’ll then select a handcrafted beautiful empty bowl, created by students and staff from WHS, and take it home as a token of their thanks and a reminder of the many empty bowls all around the world that need our ongoing help.
Your donations will benefit the Council of Social Concern (Woburn, MA) to be used for their Food Pantry program that works to alleviate local food insecurity.
WHS’s Clay for a Cause Club, along with the help of Ceramics students and Art Club, are proud to donate over 150 lovely handmade bowls for this event.
To date, Wilmington restaurants donating food to the event include As Good As It Gets, AJ’s Kitchen, EJ’s Fresh Pizza, and Pizza Mia.
