OBITUARY: Paul H. Gariepy, 88

WILMINGTON, MA — Paul H. Gariepy, 88, of Wilmington, MA, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at CareOne at Wilmington.

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, on December 23, 1934, he was a son of the late Paul L. Gariepy and the late Anna (Hind) Gariepy. Raised and educated in Attleboro, Mr. Gariepy was a graduate of Attleboro High School.

He was employed as a truck driver in the transportation industry for various companies prior to his retirement.

In his earlier years he enjoyed auto racing, and in more recent years he liked boating, time spent on Cuttyhunk Island and creating cherished memories with family, especially grandchildren.

He leaves five children: Deborah A. Ebert and her husband, Robert W. Ebert, Sr., of Attleboro, MA; Elizabeth A. Gariepy of Braintree, MA; Paul J. Gariepy and his spouse, Jan Levine, of Laguna Hills, California: Susan L. Gentile and her husband, Anthony Gentile, of Andover, MA; and Lynne G. Hickox and her husband, Brian Hickox, of Franklin, MA; 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a sister: Geraldine Burges of Maryland and one niece. He was the 20-year partner of Susan Tellier of Wyndham, New Hampshire.

All services will be conducted privately.
