5 Things To Do In Wilmington On Sunday, December 4, 2022: Santa Parade, Last Day Of Festival Of Trees, Town Museum Holiday Social, New England Brass Band Concert

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Sunday, December 4, 2022:

  • SANTA PARADE: This year’s Santa Parade begins at 9am. The route can be found HERE. Residents can check out the times for the parade route and receive live updates by visiting the “Wilmington, MA Santa Parade “Facebook page. The parade’s helpers will be collecting toy and food pantry donations as well as letters for military troops at the Santa stops and along the parade route. Pass them to the elves on the second A&S Towing truck in the parade lineup. Residents also have the option of dropping donations and letters off at the Wilmington Public Safety Building. Toy donations will go to Wilmington children in need through the Wilmington Fire Department’s Toys for Children Drive. The town food pantry will receive the food collected.
  • FINAL DAY OF FESTIVAL OF TREES: We’re One Wilmington’s Festival of Trees takes place on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 10am to 9pm; Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 9am to 9pm; and Sunday, December 4, 2022, from 11am to 2pm, in St. Dorothy’s Lower Hall (11 Harnden Street). Admission is free. The event features one-of-a-kind raffle of 111 spectacular trees, wreaths and baskets; live holiday music; bake sale; and non-profit fundraisers. Photos with Santa will take place on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 5pm to 9pm. See the full schedule HERE.
  • Wilmington’s Town Museum (430 Salem Street) will hold its Annual Holiday Social from 2pm to 5pm. Join the Historical Commission celebrating the coming of winter and the beginning of many festivities. Wreaths and holiday décor will be for sale. Colonial and native foods will be available. A suggested donation of $5 per person or $15 per family is optional. Come enjoy the time with friends, and feel free to dress in period clothes. All are welcome!
  • The New England Brass Band is holding a Christmas concert at 3pm at the Wilmington Congregational Church (220 Middlesex Avenue). Enjoy a wonderful evening of Christmas music for the entire family. Admission is a suggested donation of $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students. Donations will be accepted at the door. The New England Brass Band (NEBB) is a national award-winning 30-piece brass and percussion ensemble, adhering to the instrumentation of the “British Brass Band” tradition. NEBB rehearses weekly in Wilmington and draws auditioned volunteer players from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Maine.
  •  The Greater Boston Antiques Show will take place from Wilmington’s Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road) on Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 10am to 5pm, and Sunday, December 4, 2022, from 11am to 4pm. The show, organized by Goosefare Antiques & Promotions, will feature more than 60 exhibitors from 7 states. See the list HERE. Attendees can shop for furniture, formal & country, Americana, folk art, American & European fine glass, porcelains, orientalia, art pottery, jewelry & silver paintings and fine art, drawings, watercolors, maps, photographica, and ephemera. Adult admission costs $10.

  • BUY YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE IN TOWN: The Wilmington United Methodist Church is selling Christmas trees from 10am to 6pm on the church’s front lawn. Troop 56 is selling Christmas trees from10am to 8pm in the Colonial Mall Parking Lot. Learn more HERE.
