VIRTUAL Peonies: Love of My Life
Thursday, November 17, 11am
Go back in time to the origin of peonies and learn a bit about their history. The “how to” part of this presentation will teach you to select, install, care for and divide these beautiful and much-loved plants. Then sit back and feast your eyes on a colorful photographic showcase of the many different varieties and types of peonies. Led by Christine Paxhia, who has been a Massachusetts Master Gardener since 2012.

INDOOR Afternoon Concert: Bloom/Leighton Duo

Flutist Peter H. Bloom and guitarist Mark Leighton have performed together for over 25 years, winning kudos for superb musicianship and entertaining concerts spanning the classical and jazz traditions. They’ve performed at Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts, Colby College, Hudson River Museum, Corning Community College, Boston Public Library, Islesboro Maine Summer Concerts, Elmira College, and many other locations. The Bloom/Leighton Duo is a member of the New England States Touring Roster.

INDOOR Novel Ideas Book Group

INDOOR Needleworkers

This is a social group for those who do any kind of needle craft. Bring your knitting, crocheting, quilting, etc. and enjoy a little conversation and camaraderie. Drop in.

The Book Store is staffed by volunteers from the Friends of the Library and all proceeds help support library programs.
