OBITUARY: Russell D. Daley, 84

WILMINGTON, MA — Russell D. Daley, age 84, of Peabody, formerly a long-time resident of Wilmington, passed away on October 26, 2022. Russell was the husband of Joan E. Daley (Mutch), father of Russell E. Daley & wife Susan of Salem, NH, Stephen J. Daley & wife Lois of Wilmington, Kristen J. Daley & husband Richard DeMerle of Charlestown, and the late Peter J. Daley. “Papa” of Peter, Michael and Stephen Daley, Jack and Kate Daley-DeMerle. Son of the late Russell and Inez (Murray) Daley, brother of Ella Bellmore & husband Ralph of Wilmington, Robert Daley & wife Jacqueline of Boxford, Stanley Daley & wife Judith of FL, James Daley & wife Valerie of Tewksbury, and the late Lorraine Oliphant & husband Robert Oliphant of Stoneham. Russell is also survived by many nieces, nephews and their families.

Prior to retiring, Russell was an electrician for IBEW Union Local #103 for many years.

Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, MA, on Thursday, November 3rd for Visitation from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon immediately followed by a Service at 12:00 noon. Interment will take place in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington, MA.
