OBITUARY: Eric H. Walking, 54

WILMINGTON, MA — Eric H. Walkling, age 54, of Roseville, CA, formerly of Wilmington, MA, passed away following a lengthy illness on August 18, 2022.

Eric was born on March 26, 1968, in Medford, MA; he was the cherished son of Frederick H. and Cynthia L. (Pike) Walkling. Eric was raised in Wilmington and graduated from Shawsheen Valley Technical High School with the Class of 1986.

Following graduation, Eric went to work for RCA in Burlington. He worked for several years before taking a position at Hewlett Packard in Chelmsford. Eric was transferred to the Hewlett Packard office in Roseville, CA, where he worked until his passing.

In his spare time, Eric loved to work in his garden.

Eric will be remembered for his love of animals; he loved dogs, cats, birds, and tropical fish.

Eric is survived by his parents, Fredrick and Cynthia Walkling of Wilmington, his brother, Kenneth Walkling & his wife Vicki of Wilmington and his nieces, Tina Walkling and Kayla Breslin. Eric is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Family and friends will gather for Visitation at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Tuesday, September 6th from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
