Tewksbury Man Dies After Struck By Vehicle In Wilmington Parking Lot

WILMINGTON, MA — On Monday, August 29, 2022 at 1:22 pm, the Wilmington Police and Fire Departments responded to a motor vehicle crash in the parking lot of 211 Lowell Street.

It was reported that a male party was struck by a vehicle while walking in the parking lot.

Upon arrival at the scene, units found the victim to be a 79-year-old Tewksbury man. He was transported to Lahey Clinic by ambulance where he later died.

The driver, a 60-year-old Reading woman, remained on scene.

The incident is currently under investigation by the Wilmington Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Section.
