Wilmington Residents Invited To FREE Outdoor Rod Stewart Tribute Concert At Tewksbury Library On Monday, August 8

Below is a press release from the Tewksbury Public Library:

TEWKSBURY, MA — Enjoy a concert from one of the country’s top Rod Stewart tribute performers, Rick Larrimore, this Monday, August 8, 2022, from 6:30pm to 8pm, on the back lawn of the Tewksbury Public Library.

Larrimore captures Stewart’s four decades of best-selling hits with the same humor, high energy, and sexy savoir faire that’s made him a Rock ‘n’ Roll icon. From “Maggie May” to the latest “American Songbook” classics, audience members will believe the “Rodfather” is in the house. Learn more about Rick HERE.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets or chairs. Overflow parking is available in the field across from the library’s parking lot.

No registration required. In case of inclement weather, concerts will be rescheduled and publicized widely, including on the library’s website.

Uncomfortable in large crowds? Out of town? Tewksbury Telemedia will live-stream each concert on the Town’s YouTube page and its local access television stations.

Co-sponsored by the Friends of the Library and the Tewksbury Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. Make sure to stop by the Friends of the Library’s raffle table before each concert.

Have a question? Contact librarian Robert Hayes at rhayes@tewksburypl.org or 978-640-4490 x 205.

The Tewksbury Public Library is located at 300 Chandler Street, at the corner of Chandler and Main Street (Route 38).
