School Start Times, Middle School Improvements, High School Handbook & More To Be Discussed At May 25 School Committee Meeting

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington School Committee is holding a meeting this Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 7pm in the High School’s Large Instruction Room.

The meeting will be streamed live on and on WCTV.

There are several noteworthy items on the agenda, including:

  • School Committee will vote on whether to change the school start times for the 2022-2023 school year.
  • Superintendent Dr. Glenn Brand will provide his bi-weekly update, featuring updates on the Superintendent Evaluation Process; Coordinator of Nursing Services; Wildwood School; and Bullying & Harassment Program.
  • School Committee will review the proposed 2022-2023 High School handbook.
  • School Committee will review the Middle School’s Program Review Recommendations and the Principal Entry Plan Report.
  • School Committee will accept 100 copies of Call Us What We Carry (valued at $2500) from the National Council of Teachers of English.
  • School Committee will recognize its Project 351 representative.
  • School Committee will recognize its Middle School student representatives.

The School Committee will also hear any public comments, correspondence, and subcommittee reports.
