Wilmington Methodist Church Resumes Its Sewing Group; Projects Will Help The Less Fortunate

Below is an announcement from the Wilmington United Methodist Church:

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington United Methodist Church will resume its Sewing Group, which gathers on the last Saturday of the month from 9am to noon in Fellowship Hall.

Members will spread out. Masks are optional. Don’t sew? Not a problem! There is something for everyone, including cutting dress patterns, ruffles, pockets, and bias tape.

The group’s projects include “Little Dresses for Africa” and other much-needed items for boys and girls living in Africa. The group put together fleece tie blankets in the Fall.

Bing your machine OR scissors, but most importantly, your willingness to help those less fortunate than ourselves. Questions? Please call Betsy Peterson at 978-657-0355 or email bpeter62@comcast.net.
