POLICE LOG for January 23: Driver Arrested; Complaints Of Dirt Bikes On Silver Lake

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, January 23, 2022:
  • Fire and Police responded to heavy smoke coming from vent and smell of burning oil at K&E Engineering on Main Street. (2:40am)
  • A caller reported a driver in an orange jeep tried to run her off the road when merging on Main Street. Police responded and spoke with jeep driver. Neither driver wanted to yield the right of way. (11:26am)
  • Silas A. Belden (24, Wilmington) was issued arrested for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License, No Or Expired Inspection Sticker, and Warrant. (2:28pm)
  • A caller reported two individuals were on Silver Lake riding dirt bikes and being loud. Police responded. Operator was practicing for a race in Maine. He was advised and sent on his way. (4:48pm)
