OBITUARY: Kevin M. Hall, 51

Below is an obituary from Nichols Funeral Home:

WILMINGTON, MA — Kevin M. Hall, age 51, a life-long resident of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly on October 25, 2021, at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.

Kevin was born in Winchester, MA, on June 11, 1970; he was the cherished son of Walter and Karen Hall. Kevin was raised and educated in Wilmington and was a graduate of Wilmington High School with the Class of 1989. Kevin was a “great kid” growing up, he was very friendly and kind towards others. Kevin made many life-long friends at an early age and he was known as the “savior” of his neighborhood because he was always out and about helping everyone; whether it was moving something, shoveling, cutting grass or any other chore they needed help with. Kevin never turned anyone away; he was always dependable any time day or night.

Kevin was a hard worker, for many years he was employed as a Precision Sheet Metal Mechanic for the Rooney Welding and Fabrication Company. Kevin was known to be very meticulous and conscientious at his job; he was caring and friendly towards his co-workers; they had a great relationship inside and outside of work.

Kevin married Suzanne Curtin on November 18, 2007; the couple became parents to two wonderful daughters Olivia and Kassie; they were Kevin’s pride and joy. Kevin looked forward to the times they spent together; the rides to Kennebunk, Maine, to go out to breakfast or head to the Candy Store to fill up, the countless games of UNON on the Nintendo Switch, or Mousetrap; he would do anything to make his girls happy.

Family was so important to Kevin, he was very devoted to his family and thoroughly enjoyed family holiday’s especially the Annual 4th of July party that included the “steak tip cook off” which was rewarded with the Copper Cow.

In his spare time, Kevin enjoyed Kayaking, listening to music, his favorites being The Grateful Dead or Phish or he was just out and about helping someone.

Kevin will be fondly remembered for his quiet and sensitive side but when you go to know him he was really funny with a great sense of humor. Kevin was always kind towards everyone; he loved with all his heart and will forever be loved and missed by all.

Kevin was the dear husband of Suzanne Hall (Curtin), devoted father of Olivia and Kassie Hall, beloved son of Walter Sr. and Karen (Andersen) Hall all of Wilmington, loving brother of Kristen Hall of Wilmington and the late Walter “Skip” Hall, Jr. Son-in-law of Paul and the late Sandra Curtin of Wilmington. Kevin is also survived by his life-long “Wilmington Crew”, his “Boys at work”, as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Saturday, November 6th for Visitation from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. immediately followed by a Service at 12:30 p.m. Interment will take place in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. In true “Kevin fashion” please come casually dressed with your favorite Kevin Hall sweatshirt on.
