#1) Wilmington United Methodist Church’s Harvest & Holly Fair
The Wilmington-Tewksbury United Methodist Women are excited to announce that the date of their annual Harvest and Holly Fair has been set! Join us on Saturday, September 25, 2021, from 9am to 2pm.
Treats and treasures await you, including fall mums, a fashion boutique, and the ever popular gently used jewelry sale. And don’t miss the cider and doughnuts, lunch options, and pies, fudge and other treats.
Proceeds will support the church and its many mission projects within the past have included the Wilmington Community Fund, Billerica Food Pantry, Lazarus House, Woman’s Lunch Place, House of Hope, Wish Project, Power of Flowers, Mission of Deeds, and many more.

#2) Cornhole Tournament To Benefit Wilmington High School Football Teams
A cornhole tournament to benefit Wilmington High School Football will take place on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road). A social hour will take place from 7pm to 8pm, followed by the tournament from 8pm to midnight.
Admission costs $25, whether playing in the tournament or not. The event will include a cash bar, food, cash prizes, raffles and more. You must register as a twosome to play cornhole — no walk-ins or single players. Register at www.venmo.com/wilmingtondtc.
#3) Wellcare Chiropractic Center Hosting A Free Breathwork & Meditation Workshop
Wellcare Chiropractic Center (230 Lowell Street) will be hosting a Free Breathwork and Meditation Workshop on Saturday, September 25, 2021, from 11am to 12pm.
Somatic breathing helps to decrease anxiety, stress and expel toxins from the body. Breathwork can also be a natural way to release the mind of suppressed trauma or memories.
Led by somatic breathwork expert and Instructor Julie Capozzi, M.Ed., this workshop will include guided breathing exercises and meditation for inner healing.
The workshop is limited to 8 participants. Bring your own mat. Must be at least 16 years old. Register HERE.
#4) LIBRARY EVENT: Tree Identification Walk In Wildwood Cemetery
Environmental educator Andrew Prazar of North Shore Nature Programs will teach us to identify a variety of tree species on a walk through Wildwood Cemetery from 10am to 11:30am. Wear comfortable footwear and dress for the weather. This program is part of the Wilmington Earth Year Series funded by the Friends of the Library 2019 Annual Appeal. Register HERE.
#5) LIBRARY EVENTS: Drop-In Baby Time & Drop-In Storytime
This 9:30am storytime includes books, rhymes, music and movement. In the event of inclement weather, recent rain causing the ground to be saturated, or temperatures under 55° or above 85°, storytime will move INDOORS. (Ages 0-23 months). Masks are required for ages 2-12 per the Wilmington Board of Health. No registration required.
