LETTER: Wilmington Selectwoman Lil Maselli Endorses Judy O’Connell For Selectwoman In September 2 Special Election

Dear Editor,

I am writing to endorse Judy O’Connell’s candidacy for the Wilmington Board of Selectmen. As a lifelong resident, she has been a vibrant and active part of our community. She has shown her volunteerism through several town organizations, as well as dedicated efforts on numerous town projects. As many know, she has also worked hard on both the Wilmington School Committee and the Board of Selectmen.

Over the past two decades of residing in Wilmington, I have heard and read about the endless time Judy puts into the betterment of our community. I got the chance to hear even more when my oldest son had her as his sophomore year geometry teacher for a brief period. Judy stepped into the position at Wilmington High School when the school was in need of an interim geometry teacher. My son would always tell my husband and me how kind she was to the class and how excellent of a teacher she was. She made a big impact on my son’s high school experience in a short amount of time. Judy cares about Wilmington – especially its future.

Please join me at the polls on Thursday, September 2nd, and cast your vote for Judy O’Connell. I am beyond excited for the opportunity to have her on the board and work hard for the residents of Wilmington.

Thank you,

Lilia Maselli
