#1) Attend Wilmington Economic Development Committee Meeting
A subcommittee of the Wilmington Economic Development Committee meets at 6pm in Room 9 of Town Hall. Read the agenda HERE.
#2) Virtual Tech Help At Wilmington Library
Technology Librarian Brad McKenna will help you with device issues or answer technology related questions in this one-on-one tech help session at 10am. Register HERE.
#3) Tewksbury/Wilmington Elks To Hold Bingo, Public Invited To Play
The Tewksbury/Wilmington Elks (777 South Street, Tewksbury) is resuming its bingo — open to the public — every Tuesday. Doors open at 4pm. Bingo starts at 6:45pm.
#4) Still Not Too late To Donate To Wilmington’s Ice Bucket Challenge
If you were unable to attend the Wilmington Rotary Club’s Community Ice Bucket Challenge on August 28 at Rotary Park, it’s still not too late to support the fight to find a curse for ALS. Donations may be mailed to Wilmington Rotary Club, PO Box 503, Wilmington, Ma. 01887 or you may donate online at https//theangelfund.org and reference “Wilmington Rotary Club” in the message section.
#5) Wilmington Veterans Department Seeks Photographs
The Wilmington Department of Veterans Services is looking for photographs that depict how the tragic events of September 11, 2001 affected Wilmington residents.
Photographs of the World Trade Center, any ceremonies or dedications relating to 9/11 and especially the construction and dedication of the 9/11 Memorial at the High School.
There will be a ceremony in the High School Auditorium on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10am. The photos will be presented there electronically.
Photos may be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or brought to the Veterans’ Office at 141 Shawsheen Avenue so we can scan them into the computer. All photos will be returned.
