Wilmington Goes Purple This Month To Raise Awareness Of Alzheimer’s & Support Finding A Cure

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington has gone purple to raise awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association and support the Walk To End Alzheimer’s event on Sunday, October 3, 2021 in Andover.

Several businesses in town — including Salem Five Bank, Designs By Don Florist, and Boston Dog Company — have decorated themselves in purple. Wilmington Community Television recently spotlighted the Alzheimer’s Association on the latest episode of ‘Talk of The Town.’ (Watch HERE.) The Wilmington Senior Center will hosting an outdoor concert with Howie Newman on Monday, June 14, 2021. “Forget Me Nots” will be on sale for $1 to honor loved ones and raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association.
