OBITUARY: Margaret P. (Fiore) McLaughlin, 85

BILLERICA, MA — Margaret P. (Fiore) McLaughlin, age 85, a longtime resident of Billerica, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2021, after years of care and compassion, at the Belmont Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Belmont.

Margaret was born in Woburn, August 16, 1935 a daughter of the late Angelo and Jeanette McCarthy. She lived in Billerica for over 50 years.

Margaret was the devoted mother of John McLaughlin III and his wife Patricia of Arlington, Joseph McLaughlin and his wife Sabina of Nashua, NH, Loreen Nolan and her late husband, John of Dracut, and Kathy Sullivan and her late husband, James of Queens, NY. She was the loving grandmother, “Narnie” to her eight grandchildren: Jenni, Jacki, Johnny and his wife, Caitlin, Holly, Patrick and his fiancé, Kathleen, Shaun and his fiancé, Kassandra, James and Patricia, and great-grandmother to, Kiley and Jack. She was the sister of Rose Gavrilles, Joyce Bannister, Sally Keenan, Roberta McCarthy, and Paul McCarthy.

Maggie, also know as Tiny, to her many friends, worked at Analog Devices in Wilmington for many years. Her true joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 6 at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish in St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10:00 a.m. There were no visiting hours. Donations can be made in Margaret’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
