ANDOVER, MA — John Goodwin Wragg, 87, longtime resident of Andover, Mass., passed away Jan. 26, 2021. He was born in New London, to the late George and Maude Frances (Goodwin) Wragg.
John attended Northfield Mt. Hermon and Yale University where he lettered in baseball and football. His degrees from Yale included a Bachelor of Science in business, a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering, and a Master of Engineering.
His career included Vitro Laboratory in Silver Spring, Md., AVCO in Wilmington, Mass., and private consulting for small New England companies. Once retired, he devoted his energy to AVIS as a Forest Ranger.
John loved stamp collecting, dancing, music, and animals.
He is survived by his son, Eric K. Wragg of Kingston, N. H.; and his granddaughter, Devin Leigh Wragg of Vancouver, Wash.
