#3) Wilmington Library Closes To Public Beginning Today Amid COVID-19 Spike
Due to the recent surge in COVID-19, the Wilmington Memorial Library has rolled back to Curbside Service only Monday through Saturday 10am to 4pm. Starting on Monday, December 7, 2020, the building will be closed to the public until further notice. Staff is available by phone Monday-Thursday 9am to 9pm and on Friday & Saturday 9am to 5pm. #4) Attend Virtual Merrimack Valley Substance Use Disorder Symposium
The virtual Merrimack Valley Substance Use Disorder Symposium will take place on Friday, December 7, 2020, from 9am to 1pm.
This free event brings together providers in all aspects of the field of substance use in Greater Lowell and Merrimack Valley. Attendees will leave with a broader knowledge base of local resources and a better sense of how we can eliminate silos and coordinate services across the communities.
The event will feature breakout sessions and workshops on mental health, harm reduction, Narcan, vaping, workplace wellness, meditation, and community health needs. The event also includes networking, resource guides, resource tables, and educational resource videos. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

#5) Wilmington Boy Scouts & Wilmington Methodist Church Selling Christmas Trees
Boy Scout Troop 56 of Wilmington is selling Christmas trees in the Colonial Plaza (35 Lowell Street) on the weekends from 10am to 8pm and on the weekdays from 4:30pm to 8:30pm.
Wilmington United Methodist Church (87 Church Street) is selling Christmas trees this holiday season as follows: Thursdays & Fridays: 4pm to 8pm, Saturdays: 10am to 8pm, Sundays: 10am to 6pm. Proceeds will allow the church’s Outreach Committee to support many causes.
