WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to know in Wilmington on Sunday, November 1, 2020:

#1) Wilmington Republican Town Committee To Hold Stand Out For President Trump & First Responders

The Wilmington Republican Town Committee invites residents to hold signs and flags in support of President Trump and first responders, from 2pm to 4pm, at the Route 38-Route 62 intersection in town.

#2) Estate Sale On Boutwell Street

An estate sale is taking place from 10am to 2pm at 14 Boutwell Street. According to a listing on GSALR.com, items available for sale include chandeliers, sports memorabilia, set of Front Gate furnishings for the porch or desk, a 4-burner Weber grill, an Executive Desk set, and Dunkin’ Donuts memorabilia.

#3) Pie Fundraiser To Benefit We’re One Wilmington Begins Today

Beginning today, Wilmington businesses Team Blue/ERA Key Realty Services and Damore Law are holding a pie fundraiser to benefit We’re One Wilmington. Order a pie from Josie’s Bakery (2 Lowell Street) and both business will donate $5 each to WOW. Pies available include Apple ($15), Pecan ($18), Pumpkin ($18) and Chocolate Cream ($20). Pies can be ordered now through November 18, 2020 by texting or calling Margie at 978-810-0523. (Make sure to mention the fundraiser.) Pick-up will take place at the bakery on Monday, November 23, 2020, from 3pm to 6pm.

#4) Fuel Assistance Applications Now Available To Wilmington Seniors

Beginning today, the Community Teamwork Inc.’s Fuel Assistance Program is available to new applicants. Any Wilmington resident 60 years or older who is in need of fuel assistance should contact the Elderly Services Department at 978-657-7595. Wilmington residents who applied last year and are receiving renewal applications in the mail may also call for an appointment. The income guidelines (maximum annual gross income) for the program are as follows: $39,105 for a household of one; $51,137 for a household of 2; $63,169 for a household of 3; and $75,201 for a household of four. Residents under the age of 60 in need of assistance should contact the Billerica Veterans’ Agent office at 978-671-0968.
