VIDEO: Mike McCoy Surprised By ‘Thank You’ Drive-By Parade, Receives Citation From Governor For 30 Years Of Service

WILMINGTON, MA — Former Selectman Mike McCoy was surprised with a “Thank You” Drive-By Parade on Saturday, June 20, 2020 from dozens of residents.

McCoy received a plaque from parade organizer Gerry Bruno, calling McCoy a “champion of the people of Wilmington.” State Representative Dave Robertson gave McCoy a citation from the governor and a flag that had flown over the State House.

McCoy served on the Board of Selectmen for 30 years (and 2 months), plus 3 years on the Wilmington Planning Board. He also owned Michael’s Place in town for 31 years.
