WILMINGTON, MA — Eduardo M. Tavares, age 56, of Wilmington, passed away on February 27, 2020 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.
Eduardo was the beloved husband of Natalia (Correia) Tavares, devoted father of Brian Tavares & Kelly Finn of Tewksbury and Brianna Tavares of Wilmington, loving “Vavo” of Camden Tavares, cherished son of the late Agostinho Tavares and Delerina (da Estrela Ponte) Tavares, dear brother of Olga Laranja, Jose Grilo, Maria Braz, Antonio Tavares, Agostinho Grilo, Victor Tavares, Natalia Cabral, Carlos Grilo, and Sonia Correia. Eduardo is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather for Visitation at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Monday, March 2nd from 10:00-11:45 a.m. immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, at 12:00 noon. Interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
