WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, August 9, 2019:
- Fire Department responded to smoldering mulch at the Shell Gas Station on Main Street. (5:00pm)
- A calling party reported his neighbor is on his front lawn yelling obscenities at him. Police restored the peace and spoke with both neighbors. Caller was advised of his harassment prevention order rights. (7:27pm)
- Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout in the Target parking lot. (7:43pm)
- A caller reported a vehicle smashed a few glass bottles into the roadway on Burlington Avenue. (9:37pm)
- Police stopped a suspicious vehicle on Colonial Drive. Vehicle was parked in darkness near a wooded area with a passenger laying down down in their seat. Driver said he was looking for a place to relieve himself. He was directed to Cumberland Farms. Vehicle proceeded to drive down Wildwood Street, away from Cumberland Farms. Police then issued a citation for expired inspection. Police checked Colonial Drive area. (11:05pm)
