POLICE LOG for August 10: Car Stolen; License Plate Stolen; Road Rage Incident At Cumberland Farms

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, August 10, 2019:

  • Clerk at Cumberland Farms reported a vehicle was chasing a man on foot. Vehicle drove into the Cumberland Farms parking lot and yelled at the man. The vehicle then left northbound on Route 38. Police responded and sent man on his way. Police were unable to locate involved vehicle. Incident stemmed from an earlier road rage incident in Tewksbury. (3:50am)
  • A caller reported she struck a deer with her vehicle on Chestnut Street this morning. No damage to vehicle. Deer ran off. (8:27am)
  • A Wilmington resident left her vehicle in the Jake n Joe’s parking lot in Woburn on July 31. The vehicle is now gone. Business did not have it towed. Woburn Police could not locate vehicle. Wilmington Police entered it into NCIC. (12:01pm)
  • A 2-vehicle crash occurred on Concord Street. Both vehicles towed. Two parties transported to Lahey Hospital. (12:32pm)
  • Police provided a hitchhiker a ride to the Anderson station in Woburn to catch a train to Maine. (12:46pm)
  • A walk-in party reported receiving threats via Facebook. (1:59pm)
  • A caller reported their rear license plate was stolen yesterday, either at Avalon Oaks or in Reading. (6:03pm)
