#1) Wilmington Board of Selectmen Meeting
The Wilmington Board of Selectmen meets at 7pm in Town Hall’s Room 9. Read the agenda HERE.
#2) Aliens: Escape From Earth! At Wilmington Library
The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding this fun event (for ages 4 and up) at 6:30pm. “During a midnight meteor shower, something mysterious falls from the sky toward Earth — but it’s not a shooting star. Two kids venture out to investigate and soon find themselves mixed up with a family of visitors from another planet! Trapped by a crazy space scientist, they must risk everything to rescue the aliens and get them back to their ship — before it’s too late!” Throughout the intergalactic story, volunteers from the audience will get to discover the unbelievable world of science through experiments and demonstrations with chemical reactions, polymers, pressure, inertia, energy, explosions and so much more! #3) Little Movers At Wilmington Library
The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding Little Movers for ages 1-2 at 10am. Let’s move! Join us for a morning of singing, dancing, and moving around! Register HERE.
#4) ‘All Sports’ Clinics Start
During the summer, the Wilmington High School Athletic Department will be sponsoring a series of sports clinics for children in Grades 1-8.
The clinics will be held at the Wilmington Middle School (25 Carter Lane). Please note this is a change from last year’s high school location.
All clinics will be run by WHS Coaches, Alumni and Athletes.
The cost of each clinic is $175 per child per clinic with the exception of Boys Soccer and Track, which has a cost $150 per child. Additional clinic enrollment is discounted $25 per clinic. (I.e. Siblings attending camps are $175 each; the next camp is $150 per child per clinic).
Here is the summer sports clinic schedule:
- June 17 to June 21: Boys Basketball, Field Hockey
- June 24 to June 28: Girls Basketball, Flag Football
- July 1 to July 5 (no clinic on July 4): Boys Soccer, Track
- July 8 to July 12: All Sports
- July 15 to July 19: Girls Soccer, Volleyball
All clinics, with the exception of Boys Soccer and Track, will run 8:30am-2:30pm Monday through Thursday and 8:30am -12:30pm on Friday. Boys Soccer and Track will run 8:30am – 2:30pm Monday- Friday (no session on 7/4).
The focus of each clinic is the development of skills through activity based drills and scrimmages. The ultimate goal of the clinics is to develop children who enjoy participating in athletics.

#5) Town Beach Open
The Town Beach is open today. Lifeguards are on duty from 10am to 8pm. Admission is FREE for residents. Proof of residency is required. Learn more HERE.
