Second Car Wash Coming To Main Street After $5.125 Million Sale

WILMINGTON, MA — Below is a press release from Horvath and Trempblay, which first appeared in New England Real Estate Journal:

Todd Tremblay, Brian Ahrens, Bob Horvath, and Steven Girolamo of Horvath & Tremblay completed the sale of The Learning Experience and Car Wash in Wilmington, Massachusetts.

Horvath & Tremblay exclusively represented the seller and procured the buyer to close the transaction at a sale price of $5.125 million.

The Car Wash is replacing a former Sonic Drive-In at the property. The lessee of the car wash is Nouria Energy, one of New England’s largest family-owned operators of convenience stores, fueling stations and car washes.

The Learning Experience has been operating the daycare and early education academy at the property since it’s construction in 2012.

The Learning Experience and Car Wash are located adjacent to a Market Basket, TJ Maxx & CVS anchored shopping center.

  1. Sweet. A real asset to the community.

Does anyone have any idea what the hold up is for Casa Blanca?
Feels like we’ve been waiting for it to open for years now.

    1. The hold up is the result of the gas explosions which affected one of there other locations in the Merrimack valley which caused an unexpected financial loss. they will open as soon as they are able and it will be worth the wait !!

  2. A year ago Tuesday, they got their liquor license approved. According to a Wilmington Apple article on 7/9, their attorney estimated the restaurant would be open in 2 months. Crickets since then. Clearly, there are some problems here.

I suppose another car wash is better than just an empty Sonic building, but not by much. Meanwhile, the old Walgreeens, Rite Aid and most of the building next to Meineke remain empty.
