#1) Acting Class For Grades 4-8 At Wilmington Library
The Wilmington Memorial Library is hosting “Legends In Training: Acting For The Story Of Your Life!” at 5:30pm. You have a purpose, your voice matters, and your story is important–let’s tell it together! This fun and unique workshop will explore the fine art of improvisation through acting scenarios and theatre games. For Grades 4 to 8. Register HERE.
#2) Acting Class For Grades 9-12 At Wilmington Library
The Wilmington Memorial Library is hosting “Star Struck: An Acting Workshop For Teens” at 7pm. If you’re looking for an acting workshop with laughter, fun, and improv, this one’s for you! We’ll battle it out with acting challenges and comedic adventures. You’re perfectly cast for the starring role in your own life, now’s your chance to shine! Costumes, props, and scripts provided. #3) Request A Free Mosquito Spraying
Central Mass. Mosquito Control Project is accepting requests to spray for adult, flying mosquitoes. Use the “Service Request” button to the right on the homepage.
Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project personnel will be in Wilmington to respond to residents’ concerns about mosquitoes in their area on June 12, June 13, June 19, June 20, June 26, and June 27. Dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions, mosquito populations, mosquito virus activity and/or special event spraying.
Mosquito spraying is only done when certain criteria have been met; mosquitoes are active at that time, temperatures are above 55oF and winds are less than 10mph. If any of these conditions are not present at the time of the application then the service request will be rescheduled to a later date.
#4) Town Beach Open
The Town Beach is open today. Lifeguards are on duty from 10am to 8pm. Admission is FREE for residents. Proof of residency is required. Learn more HERE.
#5) Tour Of Wilmington Town Museum
The Town Museum (430 Salem Street) is open from 10am to 2pm. Come explore Wilmington’s history. Free admission.
