About Minuteman Regional High School

Minuteman is a place where students discover what they love to do and what they do well. Answering these questions unlock motivation and purpose. Last fall, Minuteman was commended for high progress and narrowing proficiency gaps on state tests. Minuteman’s model of integrating academic rigor with career and technical education (CTE) allows students to accelerate their learning, grasp their full potential, and achieve a competitive advantage. Students problem solve, collaborate, and apply knowledge through integrated classes, projects, extra-curricular activities, and paid internships. Students earn college credit through Advanced Placement classes, Project Lead the Way (STEM) offerings, and dual enrollment courses offered at Minuteman through local Community Colleges. All freshman receive their own laptop to communicate with teachers, organize their portfolio and develop a senior capstone project.

Minuteman engages the community in growing college and career readiness through industry partnerships based in 16 CTE programs. In 2016, voters approved $144,900,000 for a NEW Minuteman High School. Construction is ahead of schedule and will open August 2019. Academic and career programs are organized within two academies; the Life Sciences and Services Academy and the Engineering, Construction, and Trades Academy. Students and staff participated in the design of the new school to intentionally deepen professional collaboration between teachers and among students. Minuteman faculty and the Minuteman Parents Association support a family-like atmosphere that fosters student well-being and ensures all students discover their purpose. Minuteman is a revolution in learning.
