Meet The Woburn Street School Principal Search Finalists

WILMINGTON, MA — The three finalists for the Woburn Street School Principal Search were announced on Thursday — Laurie Fahey, Charlotte King, and Suzanne Sullivan.

Ms. Laurie Fahey has served as Principle of George H. Englesby Elementary School in Dracut since 2017.  Previously, Ms. Fahey served as Assistant Principal of the Justin C. Richardson Middle School in Dracut for three years. From 2004 to 2014, she served as a classroom teacher for the Dracut Public Schools. Fahey holds a Masters of Education from Lesley College and a Bachelor of Science from UMass Lowell.

Ms. Charlotte King has served as the Director of the Wildwood Early Chilhood Center in Wilmington since 2014. She previously was an integrated preschool teacher for the Groton-Dunstable Regional School District for five years, as well as Lead Teacher/Team Chair for the Groton-Dunstable Regional School District. Prior to Ms. King’s years in the Groton-Dunstable Regional School District, she served as an Early Childhood Coordinator for the Ayer Public Schools. King holds a Master of Early Childhood Education from Fitchburg State University and a Bachelor of Science from Wheelock College.

Ms. Suzanne Sullivan has served as the Principal at the Parker Elementary School in Billerica since 2016. Prior to assuming her role in Billerica, Sullivan also served as Principal of the Discovery School in Greenfield and Principal of the Warren Community Elementary School in Warren. Ms. Sullivan began her educational career teaching second grade in Brimfield. Sullivan holds a Master of Education from Worcester State College and a Bachelor of Science from Fitchburg State University.

Parents/guardians and community members can meet these finalists on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at the Woburn Street School.

  • Ms. Laurie Fahey from 4:15pm to 4:45pm
  • Ms. Charlotte King from 4:45pm to 5:15pm
  • Ms. Suzanne Sullivan from 5:15pm to 5:45pm
