WILMINGTON, MA — Donald M. Manson, age 76, of Wilmington, passed away following a long illness on September 30, 2018.
Donald was the devoted father of Peter D. Manson & his wife Lin Marshall-Manson of Lawrence, cherished son of the late Spurgeon and Bertha (Jakobsen) Manson, dear brother of Deborah Fitzgerald & her husband James of Wilmington and the late Spurgeon D. Manson, Jr. and his wife Patricia Manson of Wilmington. Donald is also survived by his former spouse and friend, Marie Manson of Dracut, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Donald was a U.S. Army Veteran who proudly served during the Vietnam era.
Family and friends will gather for Visitation at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Wednesday, October 3rd from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at the Wildwood Cemetery, 233 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, on Thursday, October 4th at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Donald’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
