Wilmington’s ROOTS Coalition Invites Public To Discussion On Social Media’s Impact On Youth On Sept. 19

WILMINGTON, MA — Join the Wilmington-based ROOTS (Raising Our Own to Be Strong) Coalition for its first series of community dialogues on Wednesday, September 19, from 6pm to 8pm, at Wilmington’s Panera Bread (228 Main Street).

This “Dinner and Dialogue” event will focus on the impact of social media on our society and specifically how our youth are being impacted and strategies to help. This will serve as an open dialogue for all to give input on their experiences as well as provide support for those who need it.

A light dinner will be provided on a first come, first served basis. Please RSVP for food planning purposes HERE or HERE.

ROOTS Coalition was founded with the purpose in providing innovative, fact-based age appropriate educational programs to students, parents and community with the focus on supporting positive mental health, substance abuse prevention and awareness as well as providing invaluable life skills in order to help make positive choices and lead healthy and productive lives.
