WILMINGTON, MA — Following a ‘Coffee with the Candidates’ event at the Wilmington Public Safety building on Saturday morning ,the Wilmington Firefighters Union (Local 1370 IAFF) voted to endorse Judy O’Connell (D-Wilmington) for State Representative in the 19th Middlesex.

O’Connell has already received the endorsements of current Wilmington Selectmen Kevin Caira, Greg Bendel, Ed Loud, and Jonathan Eaton, plus former Wilmington Selectmen Mike Newhouse, Lou Cimaglia, and Mike Champoux.

O’Connell was also recently endorsed by the Mass Voters For Animals for being an advocate for animal protection and the prevention of cruelty.
Last month, Tewksbury Firefighters Local 1647 endorsed Mark Kratman (D-Tewksbury) for the State Rep seat, calling him a “strong supporter of public safety.”
