GoFundMe Page Created For Wilmington Man In Life-Threatening Motorcycle Crash

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington resident Tom McLaren was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident while riding on Route 128 South in Woburn on Monday, July 30 around 8:40am.

McLaren, who is married with two children, was transported to Lahey Clinic with a broken clavicle, broken ribs, broken bones in his race and skull, and a broken humerus. He remains heavily sedated with a breathing and lung tube, but continues to fight.

Friends of the McLaren family recently established a GoFundMe page to help pay for his medical expenses and lost wages. In less than one week, more than $20,000 has been raised from the site.
