TEWKSBURY, MA — State Representative candidate Pina Prinzivalli (R-Tewksbury) offered the following statement after the passing of State Representative Jim Miceli:

“My heartfelt condolences to the Miceli family and to the towns of Tewksbury and Wilmington. This loss goes beyond politics and elected office. We lost a part of the fabric that makes up the community.

Out of respect to Mr. Miceli, his family and the communities of the 19th Middlesex District, I’m suspending campaigning until further notice so we can grieve and honor an incredible life lost. Rest in peace Representative and thank you for everything you have done.”

  1. To: Jean and family, our deepest condolences are with you,
We are very sad, that our dear friend has passed away. Jim as our State Rep could always be counted on to vote on the “Hill” considering his people from Tewksbury and Wilmington to the best he could. We have known Jim for many years and were happy to be sitting on the bleaches at the Wilmington High School graduation for his oldest child and ours beside Jim, Jean and their family. This made our day even more memorable. What wonderful people!
We knew his Mother Louise (Wisee) who was equally loving, kind, and sincere. She did a wonderful job of raising him to become the great, and loving presence in our town. He always attended funerals and sat discreetly out of site so as not to be the center of attraction. He wanted to make sure the deceased was given all that and more. It’s going to take a very special person to be able to fill his shoes as our State Rep. He has to be a “hands on Rep loving and knowing the people he will be representing.” This is going to be a most difficult task! May God continue to love Jim, Jean, their family, followers and everyone else to give them the strength and love which are needed at this sad time in their lives.
With, love, thoughts, prayers, and sincere condolences,
    Mary Kiesinger and family
