WILMINGTON, MA — During the summer, the Wilmington High School Athletic Department will be sponsoring a series of sports clinics for children in Grades 1-8.
The clinics will be held at Wilmington High School (WHS, 159 Church Street).
All clinics will be run by WHS Coaches, Alumni and Athletes.
The cost of each clinic is $175 per child per clinic with the exception of Volleyball and Track, which has a cost $150 per child. Additional clinic enrollment is discounted $25 per clinic. (I.e. Siblings attending camps are $175 each; the next camp is $150 per child per clinic).
Here is the summer sports clinic schedule:
- June 25 to June 29: Boys Basketball, Field Hockey
- July 2 to July 6: Volleyball, Track
- July 9 to July 13: Flag Football, Girls Basketball
- July 16 to July 20: “All Sports”
- July 23 to July 27: Boys Soccer, Girls Soccer
- July 30 to August 3: Boys Lacrosse, Girls Lacrosse
All clinics, with the exception of Volleyball and Track, will run 8:30am-2:30pm Monday through Thursday and 8:30am -12:30pm on Friday. Volleyball and Track will run 8:30am – 2:30pm Monday- Friday (no session on 7/4).
The focus of each clinic is the development of skills through activity based drills and scrimmages. The ultimate goal of the clinics is to develop children who enjoy participating in athletics.
