Substance Use in Your Community *RR
Thursday, February 22, 7 pm
Join Wilmington’s new Substance Abuse Coordinator, Samantha Reif, along with other professionals in the community for a panel discussion about substance use, abuse, and mental health. The panel members will provide information, statistics, resources, and share their professional or personal experiences with addiction. Please bring your questions and help us to continue this important conversation.

Goal Setting for the Job Seeker *RR
Monday, February 26, 10 am
Lisa Sasso, executive coach, motivational speaker, and author of Motivation Now! will assist you in setting your personal, professional, and gratitude goals for 2018. She will help you create a model of who you are, help you define your theme for this year, and help you set values. All of which will light the path for the New Year.

Learn and apply creative writing tips, tools, and techniques shared by published authors and other writing experts. Open to all who want to improve their creative writing skills and get their work published. At the age of thirty-six, on the verge of completing a decade’s worth of training as a neurosurgeon, Paul Kalanithi was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer. One day he was a doctor making a living treating the dying, and the next he was a patient struggling to live. All are welcome to join in the discussion of When Breath Becomes Air at the next Well Read Wednesday Book Group. Copies of the book are available at the library.
