At Wilmington Public Schools: The Wilmington School Committee will host Superintendent finalists Patricia White-Lambright and Michael Wood today. Parents and residents are invited to the Community Open Forums, Community Receptions, and Interviews with the School Committee. See schedule below:

At Wilmington Public Schools: Wilmington Public Schools will be hosting a meeting to discuss what is involved in the Preschool/Kindergarten registration process, program overview, screening process and programs/services provided by Special Education.

In The Community: The Wilmington-Billerica-Tewksbury Relay For Life is holding its 2nd Annual Taste of Towns Pizza War from 6:30pm to 8pm in the Wilmington Middle School Cafeteria. Sample pizza from pizza places from all three towns. Join the fun and help name this year’s winners. The cost to participate is $5 per person or $20 per family of 7 (with a maximum of 2 adults). In The Community: The Alzheimer’s Association is presenting a program to cover the basic information on Alzheimer’s and other dementias from 3pm to 4:30pm at Villanova Hall (126 Middlesex Avenue). The program is free and open to the public. The program offers general information on Alzheimer’s and other dementias, covers the benefits of early detection, outlines causes and risk factors, explains treatment, and introduces services offered by the Alzheimer’s Association for people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias and their caregivers.
