Living a Happier Life with Lizzie Casanave *RR

Learn how to become happier simply by changing the way you think. Many of us feel we will be happier because of something -such as finding a new job, finishing a project, losing 10 pounds, etc. However, psychologists and neurologists are now realizing that happiness can be more readily achieved through changing the way we think. Led by Lizzie Linn Casanave, a professor of philosophy and member of the Northern Essex Community College Speakers’ Bureau.
Art Workshop: Drawing from Life *RR
Saturday, January 27, 9:30 am-12:30 pm (cost $10, limit 20)

New to drawing or looking for a refresher course? This three-hour introductory workshop taught by WHS art instructor Jen Fidler, will cover sketching from observation, applying the rules of perspective, establishing strong composition and value ranges, and exploring the basics using both graphite and charcoal. Participants are welcome to bring small objects to draw on site or work from the still life provided by the instructor.
