(EDITOR’S NOTE: The wake procession scheduled for Friday is still on. Those details were outlined in yesterday’s Wilmington Patch article. The message below is for the funeral procession scheduled for Saturday.)
WILMINGTON, MA — Atley Miller, age 15, from Wilmington MA tragically lost his life on Sunday November 19th due to injuries sustained from an ATV accident. Atley was a diesel and tow truck enthusiast and a metal fabrication student at Shawsheen Valley Technical School as well as an avid rider of ATVs.
His good friend Connor Grabowski has stepped up and with the blessing of Atley’s family and friends, has requested a procession of Diesel Trucks to join the funeral procession on Saturday Morning, November 25, 2017.
All trucks will meet at the St. Williams Church parking lot, 1351 Main St, Tewksbury by 9am. As the funeral procession goes by, the trucks will be directed to merge into the procession to St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington. At that point, drivers may choose to join the service or continue on. We do ask that if a driver intends to attend the cemetery that he/she not bring a big rig, but carpool with someone in a pickup or car.
If you will be attending the procession, please reply by email to email@example.com with:
1) Type of vehicle (ex: 2010 Peterbilt or 2001 Chevy Silverado, etc.)
2) Name / Organization Affiliation (ex: John Smith or Smith Towing Co)
This information will allow for proper planning with the funeral director as well as allow organizers to forward a list to Atley’s family of those who attended.
