WILMINGTON, MA — Below is a round-up of what’s going on in Wilmington on Thursday, November 23, 2017:
HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Wilmington High (8-2) will battle Tewksbury High (9-2) in the 84th Annual Thanksgiving Day Football Game at 10am at Doucette Field in Tewksbury. Tickets are available for $10 (all ages) at the gate. Cash only. Fox25 will be on hand to film the game. Weather: Increasing clouds, with a high near 43. West wind 3 to 5 mph.
Traffic Advisory: Butters Row Bridge will be closed through at least December 8. The MassDOT are repairing damaged bridge timber deck planks and timber stringers. Work will take place daily from 7am to 7pm. … A Sewer Project on Lowell Street is underway from 7am to 4pm. Short traffic delays are expected particularly as the project advances through the Woburn and Lowell Street intersection.
Trash & Recycling Collection: Trash and recycling pickup has been delayed one day due to Thanksgiving.
