In The News:
Wildcats Make History: Congrats to the WHS Boys Cross Country Team for taking third place at the MIAA State Division 4 Championship Meet on Saturday. This the first time in program history that the Wildcats placed.
Weather: Partly sunny, with a high near 40. Light and variable wind.
Traffic Advisory: Butters Row Bridge will be closed through at least December 8. The MassDOT are repairing damaged bridge timber deck planks and timber stringers. Work will take place daily from 7am to 7pm. Detour routes are posted HERE. … A Sewer Project on Lowell Street is underway from 7am to 4pm. Short traffic delays are expected particularly as the project advances through the Woburn and Lowell Street intersection.

In The Community: The Catholic Community of Wilmington and South Tewksbury’s Charities Committee is conducting a Thanksgiving Food Drive to help families in need within the St. Thomas and St. Dorothy’s parishes, as well as the Wilmington and Tewksbury Food Pantries. Donations can be left inside the entrances of both St. Thomas and St. Dorothy’s on Saturday, November 11 and Sunday, November 12. If you are interested in donating a complete Dinner Basket for a family, the estimated cost is approximately $50. Monetary donations or gift cards can be brought to the Parish Office, marked “Thanksgiving.” If you would like to have your donation picked up or have questions, please contact Rose Jackson at firstname.lastname@example.org or 978-658-9915.
In The Community: Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road) is hosting a firearm and knife show, featuring 500 tables, on Saturday, November 11, 9am-5pm, and Sunday, November 12, 9am-3pm. Participants can buy, sell and trade sporting, antique, and collectible firearms; custom and high quality knives; and various militaria. The general admission fee for adults is not listed, but parking is free and children 12 and under, with an adult, are free. Learn more HERE. A $1-off coupon can be found HERE. The event is hosted by New Mart Promotions of Massachusetts and promoted by the NRA-affiliated Westchester Collectors Club.

GO WILDCATS!: The WHS Cheering Squad is competing at the MSAA Fall Cheerleading National Regional Championships at Lowell High. Wilmington is scheduled to cheer at 4:40pm.
