In The News:
Wildcats Keep Winning And Winning And Winning And Winning: CONGRATS to the WHS Cheerleaders who placed first in Wednesday night’s Middlesex League Champions. CONGRATS to the WHS Varsity Field Hockey team for their playoff victory over Pentucket, 2-1, on Wednesday night. The Wildcats move on and travel to Gloucester High on Saturday at 4pm. GOOD LUCK to the WHS Varsity Girls Soccer team as they begin their playoff run with an away game at Winchester High on Saturday at 2pm. GOOD LUCK to the WHS Varsity Football team as it continues its stellar season at Marblehead High on Friday at 7pm.

Weather: A chance of showers, mainly before 8am. Patchy fog before 7am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 68. Light south wind increasing to 6 to 11 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Traffic Advisory: Butters Row Bridge will be closed through November 10. The MassDOT are repairing damaged bridge timber deck planks and timber stringers. Work will take place daily from 7am to 7pm. Detour routes are posted HERE.
Fall Yardwaste: The Town will collect leaves and grass clippings placed in biodegradable paper bags or uncovered barrels at curbside on regular trash collection days over the next five weeks. Also, the Yard Waste Center will be open special hours today from 8am to 2pm.
Live Music: Larry Gilbert performs at Rocco’s Restaurant & Bar (193 Main Street) beginning at 6pm. … Pianist Ricky Lauria performs at Tremezzo (2 Lowell Street) beginning at 8pm.
In The Community (Pt. 1): Wilmington seniors are invited to a FREE Thanksgiving dinner at the Tewksbury/Wilmington Elks (777 South Street, Tewksbury). Doors open at 5pm. Dinner begins at 6:30pm. This annul event, sponsored by the Elks, will also feature raffle prizes and dancing. Interested seniors should reserve their free tickets at the Senior Center’s Front Desk.
In The Community (Pt. 2): Do you like to sing? Do you enjoy performing? Come join the Merrimack Valley Chorus at one of its regular weekly rehearsals. You just might discover a passion for a cappella singing, and you’ll also make some great new friends! Open rehearsals are every Thursday at 7pm at the Wilmington Arts Center (219 Middlesex Avenue).
