5 Things You Need To Know In Wilmington Today (September 22, 2017)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things you need to know in Wilmington for Friday, September 22, 2017.

#1) According to the National Weather Service, Wilmington will see a chance of showers, mainly after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 65. North wind 13 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

#2) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding TWO programs today:

  • Needleworkers (10am-noon)
  • Drop-In Preschool Storytime (10am-11am)

#3) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its regular Friday activities:

  • Video Exercise (10:00am)
  • Special Exercise (11:00am)
  • Bingo (1:00pm)
  • Cards (1:30pm)

#4) The WHS Boys Varsity Football team hosts Wakefield High at 7pm.  Also, the WHS Cheerleaders are holding their 2nd Annual Cheerleader For A Day fundraiser.

#5) The Suburban Boston Fall Home Show will emanate from Wilmington’s  Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road) on Friday, September 22 (11am-8pm); Saturday, September 23 (10am-8pm); and Sunday, September 24 (10am-6pm). Admission is free and parking is free.

PLUS: Pacific Grove (211 Lowell Street) is hosting Karaoke with Winnell Entertainment beginning at 8pm.
