OBITUARY: Joseph T. Duggan, 77

WILMINGTON, MA — Joseph T. Duggan, “Joe”, age 77, a life-long resident of Wilmington, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on September 3, 2017.

Joe was the beloved husband of the late Judith D. (Creamer) Duggan, devoted father of Lori Bruce & her husband James of Holderness, NH and Joseph Duggan & his wife Carla of Wilmington, loving Grandfather of James Bruce and Brian Duggan both of Wilmington, cherished son of the late John “Mike” and Margaret (Howes) Duggan, dear brother of Catherine Reinold , Mary Bammarito, William Duggan, Gene Duggan, Michael “Mickey” Duggan all of NH, Margaret Melvin of FL, Grace Carroll, Thomas Duggan both of Wilmington, James Duggan, Charles Duggan both of Tewksbury and the late Henry “Hank” Duggan, John Duggan and Francis “PeeWee” Duggan. Joe is also survived by his brother-in-law Roger Creamer of Wilmington as well as many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather for a Funeral Service at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62) Wilmington on Thursday, September 7th at 11:30 a.m.. Visiting hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 6th from 4:00 -8:00 p.m. Memorial donations in Joe’s name may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The Duggan Family would like to extend a special “thank you” to the Lahey Clinic Hematology Dept.
