WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things you need to know in Wilmington for Sunday, September 3, 2017.
#1) According to the National Weather Service, Wilmington will see showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Patchy fog. High near 64. East wind 8 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
#3) There is a large moving sale on Fiorenza Drive scheduled for today. Learn more HERE.
#4) REMINDER: Drill work is scheduled to take place between 6am and 6pm today on the MBTA Lowell Commuter Line, near the Wilmington Center Commuter Rail station. It will be noisy. Learn more HERE.
#5) The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm. Learn about the canal, which travels through Wilmington.
