WILMINGTON, MA — Here are EIGHT things you need to know in Wilmington for Tuesday, June 13, 2017.
#1) According to the National Weather Service, Wilmington will see isolated showers between 9am and 11am, then scattered showers and thunderstorms after 11am. Partly sunny, with a high near 91. West wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
#3) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) will be holding its usual Tuesday programs:
- 9:00am — Walking Group
- 10:30am — Aerobics
- 12:30pm — Wii Bowling

#5) The Tewksbury/Wilmington Elks (777 South Street, Tewksbury) holds bingo — open to the public — every Tuesday at 6:45pm. Doors open at 5pm. Pizza, hot dog and pastries are sold. Free coffee.
#6) Angels In Motion meets every Tuesday, from 9:30am to 2:30pm, at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall (112 Middlesex Avenue). The club provides a great opportunity for seniors to meet new friends or reacquaint with old ones. Spend the day playing cards, board games, or just chatting with folks! A luncheon is served as noon. There are NO fees. The KofC Hall is handicap accessible.
#7) Red Heat Tavern is holding its weekly bar trivia (pub quiz) with Geeks Who Drink from 7pm to 9pm. Learn more HERE.
#8) The Town Beach is open today. Lifeguards are on duty from 10am to 8pm. Admission is FREE for residents. Proof of residency is required. Learn more HERE.
